Cooper Says Hi

Monday, October 22, 2012

This post is sponsored by Cooper. He says hi at the end of this post. In a little video. That you must watch or else.

He also wanted to update you on a few most important things:

a) He can roll over both ways now. Call the Baby Olympics.

b) We had to buy him 9 month pajamas because he is so long. And they just fit.

c) He loves solid food almost as much as milk. So far he has tried bananas, pears, apples, carrots, sweet potatoes, rice cereal, and oat cereal. He squeals and kicks his feet like crazy when he sees it coming.

d) He can say Mamamamamamamama and we all know that he is totally calling me by name.

e) His favourite book is 'Here We Go' by Eric Carle, possibly because it has buttons that make engine noises 'n stuff.

f) He already outgrew his infant car seat and we are currently shopping for one of those stay-in-the-car monstrosities. Recommendations anyone?

g) He thinks his feet are the best invention ever.

h) His fascination with the dogs is growing daily. He's already scored two fistfuls of fur.

i) He's got a bit of fuzz on his previously baldy-bald head.

j) He is almost 6 months old!!!!

Okay, here is the video. {Anyone else think their own voice sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard?)

    1. Thanks Cassie!!!!

P.S. From one pig-tail wearer to another. We will NEVER be too old for piggers. Unless we cut our hair short when we're old one day. ;)

  4. if your baby is going to be super tall, the car seat i'd recommend is the britax marathon. i have beast babies--super super super tall, and this car seat has the longest back--the distance between the base of the seat and the tallest strap hole. of course, it's also one of the more expensive ones. *sigh*

  5. Just had to warn you that a raw carrot is the perfect size to block the airway and choke a baby. Maybe it was cooked. Can't tell from the picture. He sure is just adorable. jlmor

    1. Thank you so much for the advice!

In What to Expect the First Year, they actually recommend it for teething but I think you're right. Wouldn't wanna risk it that's for sure.

      :)

  6. Coop is adorable! You thought these first 6 months were fun, right?! Months 6-16 are the BEST!!
As far as the giveaway goes - I love the honey bee necklace. We call our girls the abejas (and I claim my 3abejas on everything!) which is Spanish for "honey bees."

  11. Ahhhh what a cutie pie! He is so much like my guy! He's almost 4 months and already wearing 6 mos pjs and practically busting out the toes! Carters must make a tall boy line! How the heck do you find time for everything! I am barely able to keep up with the laundry much less any of my projects around here! So jealous please tell me your secrets!

  12. What an adorable little guy. It looks like you are having so much fun together.

From advice from a friend, we purchased the Britax Boulevard 70-G3 Convertible Car Seat. She also used it and liked the straps on this one versus brands other friends were using - I guess they can get complicated. We've been using it for about a year and half and have no complaints. We transitioned up early too (I think about 7 months).

My daughter (who is 2) never learned to roll over, just went right to crawling. Now when she lands on her back she is like a turtle and can't seem to figure out how to turn herself over...its just too funny. Be glad for the roll over :)
