The inauguration of Donald J. Trump as the United States’ 45th President was a historic day for all Americans. In his speech President Trump pledged to finally put “America First” after decades of watching as America got hammered away by the likes of China and our resource-draining “western alliance.”
However, there were some dangerous elements who clearly did not want to see the establishment get overturned by political outsider Trump. During the inauguration festivities, liberal protesters were busy creating mass anarchy, setting cars on fire and throwing bricks at the police. All in all 6 brave police officers were injured in the clashes and 217 disgusting progressive protesters were locked up. Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld had a great idea what we should do with these people.
On The Five, Greg stated that using pepper spray and percussion grenades on these dangerous anti-Trump elements was not enough. It’s part of Americans’ free speech to protest political events in a non-violent way, but when you become violent against the police, then it’s a totally different ballgame.
Stated Gutfeld, “The non-violent protesters, they have a right to get out there and talk and do that stuff, but the guys that are breaking stuff, destroying property, they are scum, they are felons, and they should be treated as such, and they should be mercilessly punished.”
He added that these thugs were actually protesting against our democracy, which voted in Trump fair and square according to election process rules. Commented Greg, “What are you going to put in its place? Anarchy? A third Obama term? It’s not going to happen. Not all activists are rioters, but all rioters are activists.” Do you agree with Greg?
