Since our place is so small, we don't put up a tree ~ rather do a bit of decorating here and there. I really like the idea of the branches in the pitcher for a natural element. I'm going to have to use this idea. I was thinking of doing something with pine cones, but I like the evergreen branches better! Thanks for the inspiration. I hope your son feels better very soon. It is so hard to watch little ones when they feel under the weather.

The shelf arrangement is simple and pretty. I had to laugh at the Bare-Naked Cottage Christmas, oh and the Au Natural. I have been craving some of that myself -in the Christmas decorating catagory of course. Problem is the kids, even now young teens, still expect the coloured lights and years of family decorations. So I compromise and do a mix of both. Cooper is a cutie. Hope he is feeling better soon. I do not miss sick little ones who can't tell you how they feel. Take care of yourself too.
