I am an hour northwest of Toronto, and find that any Homesense north of Vaughn stink!! Love your find. I went to college in North Bay, which is about 4 hours north of Toronto. That was in 1993 though, talk about lame-o shopping!!! God bless you for being an elementary school teacher. All the more so if you teach in the public school system, you deserve a pick me up!! :)

I am a Special Education Teacher and I FEEL your PAIN!!! This is one of the toughest years i've had in a long time!!
And the most challenging part is.....no one understands just how hard it is UNLESS they are a teacher too:)
Hang in there and just keep on finding things that make you happy!!
December will be here in no time:)

That is a lovely lampshade. And the beadboard at the back of your cubby shelf made all the difference in its appearance. Isn't it great to get such inspiration from the blog world?? !!! Roary looks like he is an excellent supervisor. :) Your Fall wreath turned out so beautifully, too! Wishing you all the best -- I used to teach, and there were many days when the kids were out of hand and I felt like I had bees buzzing in my ears by the end of the day with all the noise.
