Your choice of headboard is just p-e-r-f-e-c-t especially because of the windows behind, the light will still shine in your bedroom. Also it is very "cottage cute" style I like it !
For your question about camera, I have a T3I with EF 24-50 mm and EF 55-300. I got it last Christmas from my husband...I was so surprised and very excited. Like you, I just love taking static objects with different angles, close up of my dog (an 11 years old golden-Lab ), flowers, birds, even furnitures!.

I'm a new follower on your blog, I'm francophone (as you may have noticed) and hoping that you will be lenient with me for the mistakes that I could do or my accent (that you may hear from your far Northern Ontario place) hi hi.

Errrrmmmm.... Pass lol! That is to say, I'm just starting out with my fancy schmancy camera so it has the lens it came with (I'd have to bust out the instruction manual to know exactly..... Pffftt!) but after reading some stuff about aperture I'm not sure my lens has a particularly good range for that! I too am a fan of the 'close up, blurry background' shot haha! Since I completely love your photos, I thought who better to ask for info! Thanks :-) x

Really, really cute, Sarah. Nicely done. It pays to look everywhere and keep an open mind. I recently bought a queen size (headboard only) from PBteen to update our master. It was on clearance because it was an older color (kind of a sage green) but I will most likely paint it white. So, yeah, I bought a headboard from a "teen" store. It is called Coraline. So cottagey and cute.
And I always look at the tags when Sarah and Tommy go out shopping. I see alot of Ikea, but I have also seen Home Depot and Sears. And of course, I looove those second hand stores.
Looking forward to the finished product.

Oh Lisa. I'm sure it will take me another five years. Although I think I might find a white quilt and just layer the old one over the foot of the bed and use the pillows and shams for some color.

I went to Homesense and there was absolutely nothing nice. Boo hoo!

Wow that is a great headboard! Could it be any more perfect! The light will still shine through and everything. What a find. We also have a king and it is wonderful. We didn't get a foot board either. So much easier to make a bed!

So cute - love the bed frame! And you will LOVE your king sized bed. We upgraded to a king about 6 months ago and I haven't regretted a minute of it! When the kids climb in to watch cartoons on a Saturday morning, I no longer have to lay on the bitter edge, on my side! There is room for all of us!!
